Kabbalat Shabbat, Shacharit, Musaf, Mincha, Ma’ariv … Each service has its own special feeling, created by the interplay of nussach and congregational melodies. This workshop will teach you the basics of Kabbalat Shabbat nussach, along with a few nussach-based congregational melodies.

I was born and raised on the Minnesota Iron Range. Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from Indiana University. Ordained as a cantor by Aleph Alliance for Jewish Renewal. Internationally acclaimed opera singer and vocal coach, perpetual student, passionate teacher: Living “ledor vador” in the worlds of classical singing and Judaism.
