As the Jewish emancipation seemed closer than ever, Jews all around Western Europe promoted Patriotic feelings towards their countries of living. They also used traditional sources to justify this. But what can we do with Jewish Patriotism today?

Bio:
Armin Langer has a BA in Philosophy, a BA and a MA in Jewish Theology. He studied at the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem and at the Abraham Geiger College in Berlin. Langer is since 2013 coordinator of the Jewish-Muslim group “Salaam-Shalom”. He has been working as a freelance author, his first book is "Ein Jude in Neukölln".
