From the Bible through the Talmud and later Jewish texts, food places a central role. We will take a quick “foodie tour” of various texts that discuss food, which will hopefully leave you hungry for more (texts and food!) All texts available in English.

Bio:
Rebecca Lillian enjoys both text study and food, so she finally decided to combine the two. She is a member of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association and will happily discuss with you what this means. She is proud to say that she has participated in Limmud events in Amsterdam, Budapest, Cambridge (UK), Chicago (USA), Latvia, and the Mother Ship in the UK.
